Cheery Upstate NY (and Montreal)

The weather largely started clearing up as we got closer to Lake Placid. All of the trails look the same here, but we’re not complaining. Gorgeous clear water in heavy foliage is our reward for putting up with all the bugs.

Found some other visitors to take our picture at the top of Pokemundo mountain.

Our campsite for a few days against a canoeing lake didn’t have much solar, but the leaves seemed to be changing in front of our eyes!

On our way up to Montreal, we stopped to look at the Rainbow Falls of the Ausible River. This privately owned park was expensive and didn’t allow dogs so it made for a quick visit.

Notre Dame Chapel in motreal was as iconic as the smoked meat sandwich we ate at Schwartz’s.
